About This Role
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software for wafer fabrication equipment involving multi-device interactions.
- Analyze and troubleshoot software and hardware communication, focusing on serial, Ethernet, EtherCAT connectivity.
- Ensure hardware compatibility and influence design for software-hardware integration across semiconductor equipment product portfolio.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's in Computer or Electronics Engineering with 2+ years experience, or Master's with no prior experience, or equivalent.
- Experience with CFT to interpret hardware specifications and implement software requirements.
- Proficiency in Smalltalk programming language and understanding of OOPS concepts.
- Experience in software development lifecycle methodologies (waterfall, Agile, Kanban).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in semiconductor equipment software, preferably with prior semiconductor manufacturing domain exposure.
- Capable of working within embedded control systems and distributed systems environment.
- Familiar with debugging, defect fixing, and customer issue resolution in complex software-hardware integration contexts.
