About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI and API testing using Python, pytest, and Playwright.
- Develop and execute automated test suites including end-to-end UI automation, REST API validation, and performance/load testing with Locust.
- Integrate and manage automated tests in CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and collaborate with developers to analyze failures and improve automation code quality.
Minimum Requirements
- 5–6 years of software testing experience with strong hands-on test automation skills.
- Proficiency in Python programming and practical experience with pytest framework.
- Experience with Playwright or similar UI automation tools and REST API test automation.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools like Locust and experience in CI/CD integration using GitHub Actions.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing and maintaining reusable, scalable automation frameworks for UI and API testing.
- Familiar with Agile methodologies and able to participate effectively in sprint-level quality planning and execution.
- Capable of collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, analyze failures, and drive defect resolution.
