About This Role
- Develop and maintain highly available, scalable software used by large technology firms and financial institutions.
- Lead design, architectural decisions, and ownership of major features/service lifecycles from development through deployment and maintenance.
- Mentor junior engineers, improve code quality and architecture, and engage in Agile development practices including collaboration and problem resolution.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience with industry-leading programming languages such as Java or Python.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience with SDLC, Agile practices, production systems monitoring, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and messaging systems (Cloud Pub/Sub, Kafka, SQS/SNS).
- Work Experience Required: 7+ years of relevant professional experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong in building scalable backend services including microservices, polyglot storage, messaging, and data pipelines.
- Experienced in distributed software systems, big data, and NoSQL technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, DynamoDB, or Cassandra.
- Capable of owning complex software features independently and contributing to design documentation and architectural improvements in an Agile environment.
