About This Role
- Design, build, and optimize scalable real-time and batch data pipelines handling terabyte-scale datasets using Python, PySpark, SQL, and Databricks technologies.
- Manage Databricks workflows, clusters, Delta Lake, and implement Unity Catalog for metadata and security compliance.
- Lead cloud migration projects from legacy databases to major cloud platforms and develop CI/CD pipelines using Terraform and GitHub Actions for automation.
Minimum Requirements
- 4-7 years of professional work experience in data engineering or related roles.
- Proficient in Python, SQL, PySpark, and Databricks (including Workflows, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog).
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and cloud data migration.
- Immediate to 15 days notice period; remote work with 6:00 PM - 3:00 AM IST shift (US business hours).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing distributed data processing solutions for high-volume datasets (terabyte scale).
- Skilled in DevOps automation for data platforms including Terraform, GitHub Actions, and Docker.
- Capable of translating business requirements into technical architecture and mentoring team members in an agile environment.
