About This Role
- Design, develop, and operationalize AI and machine learning anomaly detection models for payments monitoring and fraud detection.
- Build scalable data pipelines and integrate AI services with payment systems and workflows, ensuring explainability and operational usability.
- Implement and monitor AI systems with governance, compliance, and risk management controls in a regulated financial environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, or related field.
- 6+ years professional experience, including 3–5 years in Data Engineering, AI/ML Engineering, or Software Engineering roles.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, APIs, cloud-native architectures, and experience with MLOps, Docker, Kubernetes, and prompt engineering with RAG and OpenAI.
- Experience in building anomaly detection or fraud detection models using supervised, unsupervised, or hybrid approaches for high-volume payment data.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in payments domain with knowledge of payment standards like SWIFT, ISO 20022, ACH, SEPA, real-time and cross-border payments.
- Skilled at translating complex business scenarios into AI-enabled detection patterns and controls in a highly regulated environment.
- Capable of collaborating across technical and business teams to deliver scalable, explainable, and compliant AI-driven payment monitoring solutions.
