About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain core backend services, infrastructure tooling, and data pipelines supporting all Abnormal AI products.
- Optimize system performance and resilience for platforms handling billions of events daily, ensuring high reliability and observability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate platform services seamlessly and enhance infrastructure consistency.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a software engineer with strong coding and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in backend development using Python, with hands-on experience in cloud-native environments.
- Solid understanding of databases, REST APIs, and data pipelines.
- Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and AI development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience building scalable, enterprise-grade systems with a focus on reliability in production environments.
- Interest or curiosity in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and orchestration technologies.
- Ability to work autonomously and asynchronously across teams, communicating effectively across engineering, product, and design partners.
