About This Role
- Set technical direction and architecture for scalable data platforms and software systems across data engineering and application development.
- Lead engineering efforts on Kafka streaming, distributed asynchronous services, and Spark/Flink analytical workloads with Apache Iceberg datasets.
- Enhance system performance, reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency; establish engineering standards and mentor engineering teams.
Minimum Requirements
- 15+ years experience in data engineering, software development, or cloud engineering for enterprise or large-scale systems.
- Proficiency in Java, Scala, Python, Go, or equivalent languages; experience operating and scaling systems on public clouds like AWS or GCP.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka, Spark and/or Flink, Apache Iceberg, strong SQL skills, and foundational knowledge in distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native architecture.
- Technical leadership demonstrated via architecture design, code reviews, cross-team collaboration, and mentoring.

- Senior-level technical leader comfortable driving architecture and delivery in large-scale distributed data and software platforms.
- Experienced in streaming data systems and batch/real-time analytics frameworks with a focus on reliability and scalability.
