About This Role
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle and adoption of the Internal Developer Platform (IDP) and developer portal, including environment provisioning and developer tooling integration.
- Design, operate, and automate multi-tenant SaaS platform infrastructure on Kubernetes (EKS and AKS), focusing on deployment strategies, security guardrails, observability, and zero-trust architecture.
- Develop and maintain core infrastructure tools such as CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, ArgoCD), Terraform module registries, messaging infrastructure (Kafka/AWS MSK), and platform observability to enable SaaS scalability and compliance.
Minimum Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in software development lifecycle emphasizing platform engineering, DevOps, and cloud-native infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Go (Golang) or Python for production-grade tooling development (CLI, operators, platform backends).
- Expertise with Kubernetes (EKS and AKS), Helm, Kustomize, and multi-tenant cluster design.
- Experience with GitLab CI, ArgoCD/Argo Rollouts, Terraform/OpenTofu module development, multi-tenant SaaS platform operations, and security/compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in leading platform-first engineering initiatives, centralizing scattered tools into cohesive foundation layers, and driving platform adoption across diverse engineering teams.
- Strong background in multi-tenant SaaS architectures with expertise in progressive deployment strategies (cell-based, ring/canary).
- Comfortable operating within high-compliance enterprise environments and collaborating across developer, Embedded SRE, and Central SRE groups.
