- Process and validate insurance claims including member, provider, and other claims information.
- Determine accurate payment criteria for claims based on defined policies and procedures, ensuring productivity, quality standards, and aging timeframes are met.
- Handle settlement of disputes and case recovery through negotiations with third parties and providers.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum education: High School or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in claims processing or related operations.
- Experience with medical claim document scrutiny and settlement procedures.
- Work under moderate supervision with ability to interpret or deviate from standard procedures.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Senior or experienced para-professional familiar with insurance claim operations and dispute settlement.
- Comfortable following standard procedures but capable of moderate interpretation or deviation when needed.
- Ability to communicate information requiring moderate interpretation, indicating experience with complex claims scenarios.
