About This Role
- Design, build, and maintain comprehensive automated test suites across frontend, backend, long-running workflows, multi-tenant isolation, and AI-driven behaviors.
- Develop adversarial and negative tests including failure injections and sandbox verifications to ensure platform reliability and contractual guarantees.
- Integrate automated tests as hard release gates in CI/CD pipelines producing auditable evidence for client milestone sign-offs, and mentor mid-level QA engineers.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years in test automation focusing on API testing and building frameworks used by engineering teams.
- Proficiency in Playwright and TypeScript for developing automation test suites.
- Experience with testing LLM-powered or other non-deterministic systems using statistical assertions and managing model variance.
- Strong CI/CD integration skills (e.g., GitHub Actions) and experience with SQL, synthetic test data pipelines, and adversarial/security testing approaches.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in handling asynchronous, event-driven systems with failure injection and eventual-consistency assurance; experience with Temporal or similar workflow engines is a plus.
- Skilled in AI/LLM testing methods, including prompt sensitivity and regression management in RAG systems, partnering effectively with AI and platform engineers.
- Able to produce reproducible, trustworthy, and defensible quality evidence for sophisticated clients, with a strategic focus on embedding quality from design stages and scaling testing with platform delivery cadence.
