About This Role
- Manage end-to-end corporate tax compliance, including tax reporting, tax accounting, and litigation support for a large listed corporate group.
- Lead quarterly and annual tax provisions preparation and coordinate with auditors during tax and financial statement audits.
- Drive process automation and maintain internal controls for tax reporting and compliance across multiple business functions and geographies.
Minimum Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant or equivalent (e.g., CPA); additional tax/legal qualifications are advantageous.
- Minimum 4+ years post-qualification experience in corporate direct taxation, tax accounting, tax reporting, and litigation.
- Mandatory hands-on experience managing tax provisions and compliance for a listed company.
- Role based in Mumbai with possible travel to other locations; work experience required: 4+ years.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing complex tax reporting cycles under IFRS and Indian Accounting Standards for multinational or listed companies.
- Strong technical expertise in corporate tax, tax accounting, and international tax advisory.
- Demonstrates ownership of financial close deadlines, stakeholder management across functions, and leads tax digitalization initiatives.
