About This Role
- Review and manually approve payment requisitions and urgent payment requests ensuring business approvals and compliance guidelines are met.
- Perform detailed cash entry reviews, create credit advices, assign account ledgers and staff accountants for cash matching, and post cash in ledgers.
- Manage payment authorization process and maintain transaction records and settlement advices in Document Management System (DMS).
Minimum Requirements
- Relevant Accounting degree required.
- 1-2 years of accounting experience required, ideally with prior experience in similar roles.
- Prior working experience in the insurance sector is preferred but not explicitly mandatory.
- Location requirement: Based in Pune, India office.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced operating in detailed accounting operations with strong ability to manage end-to-end order to cash processes.
- Comfortable working extended hours during month-end and meeting strict turnaround times and accuracy standards.
- Background in insurance sector accounting operations or similar financial services domain preferred.
