About This Role
- Own design, implementation, testing, and operation of major software supply chain curation capabilities focused on third-party and open-source components.
- Develop and integrate backend services normalizing package, vulnerability, license, and provenance data supporting C/C++ products with Perforce, Jenkins, GitHub/Azure DevOps, Black Duck, and JFrog.
- Lead technical reviews, diagnose complex failures, improve developer experience, and mentor engineers while enabling adoption across diverse product teams.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, information security, or related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Strong hands-on software engineering experience in C and C++.
- Experience with Perforce in a production software-development environment.
- Experience with Python, Jenkins, and at least one of GitHub or Azure DevOps Server; familiarity with Black Duck and JFrog in software supply chain or SSDLC contexts.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Engineer with demonstrated ownership of complex backend services or enterprise developer platform capabilities involving software supply chain curation.
- Experienced in integrating multiple build ecosystems and programming languages beyond core C/C++ and Python.
- Skilled at technical leadership including mentoring, designing reusable patterns, and communicating complex decisions clearly in English.
