About This Role
- Own network solution design and architecture for k0rdent AI platform, including large GPU cluster interconnection and multi-tenant isolation.
- Develop and publish network reference architectures, proofs of concept, and automation tooling validated on real hardware with customers and partners.
- Conduct research on emerging AI networking technologies and lead hands-on validation, collaboration with engineering, partners, and public presentations.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years in network engineering or network architecture; minimum 3 years in data center, HPC, or cloud infrastructure networking.
- Customer-facing experience in roles such as solutions architect, pre-sales engineer, consultant, or technical lead.
- Technical expertise required in data center network design (spine-leaf, Clos), InfiniBand, RoCEv2 Ethernet, Linux and Kubernetes networking, virtualization on Kubernetes, and scripting/programming (Python or Go preferred).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing scalable GPU cloud networks with deep knowledge of InfiniBand and Ethernet fabrics and multi-tenant isolation techniques.
- Comfortable operating in a research-driven role combining hands-on prototyping, cross-functional collaboration, and technical leadership in international distributed teams.
- Skilled at communicating complex network architectures and innovations to both technical and executive audiences, including at conferences and workshops.
