About This Role
- Lead planning and architecture of software projects for assembly lines, test machines, and service projects, including cost estimation and feasibility support.
- Manage and mentor a team of PLC software engineers across all software project lifecycle phases, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery targets.
- Develop, test, review, and approve PLC software integrating with mechanical and electrical teams; participate in commissioning and customer site support including travel.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical/Electronics; Mechatronics experience is a plus.
- 8+ years in machine building industry with at least 2+ years in supervisory role.
- Strong programming skills in Siemens PLC, Bosch Rexroth, Beckhoff, Allen Bradley, Delta, Mitsubishi; proficiency in IEC 61131-3 languages (Structured Text, ladder logic, STL).
- Experience with assembly/test machines, project engineering, software architecture, cost estimation, and familiarity with MES, digital twin, automation protocols.
