About This Role
- Lead design, development, integration, and enhancement of IDE and developer tooling solutions to improve developer experience, productivity, code quality, and software delivery efficiency.
- Drive technical solutions across code editing, build, debugging, testing, source control, and deployment workflows, including development/customization of IDE plugins, extensions, and integrations.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, DevOps, Platform, Security, and Product teams to deliver effective tooling solutions, while providing technical leadership and mentoring across development teams.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of overall software engineering experience with strong focus on developer tooling, IDE platforms, or engineering productivity solutions.
- Experience working with IDE platforms such as IntelliJ IDEA, Visual Studio/VS Code, Eclipse or similar.
- Proven ability to drive technical design and make architectural decisions for complex developer tooling solutions.
- Work Mode: Hybrid (Work from Client Office) in Vadodara location.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building or integrating IDE plugins, extensions, SDKs, APIs, or developer tools with strong knowledge of compilers, build systems, debugging, code analysis, source control, and CI/CD.
- Able to collaborate across multiple technical teams (Engineering, DevOps, Security, Product) and provide technical leadership and mentoring.
- Familiarity or experience in enterprise-scale developer platforms, cloud-native developer tooling, AI-assisted development tools, and in large-scale enterprise engineering environments, preferably Payments/FinTech domain.
