About This Role
- Lead design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise SQL Server databases ensuring high availability, security, and performance of mission-critical environments.
- Oversee database administration including backup, recovery, disaster recovery, tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting in large-scale production settings.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to the DBA team while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support strategic business initiatives and database modernization efforts.
Minimum Requirements
- 8-12 years of work experience in SQL Server database administration and management.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong proficiency in SSIS, SSRS, T-SQL, SQL Server Administration, Backup & Recovery, Performance Tuning, Always On Availability Groups, and database security.
- Work location in Kochi with Hybrid work mode.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced leader capable of managing complex database environments with a strategic focus on high availability and disaster recovery.
- Proficient in cloud technologies including Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, and cloud migration strategies.
- Strong background in healthcare or patient hub domain with skills in data warehousing, Power BI, and stakeholder management to drive technical excellence and modernization.
