About This Role
- Set and lead enterprise-wide AI & engineering strategy for a portfolio of products and platforms, driving a multi-year capability roadmap and investment decisions.
- Own the transformation to an AI-native operating model, encompassing discovery through continuous improvement, with governance for AI use, risk, and quality standards.
- Lead cross-functional senior engineering leaders and manage organizational design, succession, and enterprise capability building while reporting portfolio outcomes to executives.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
- 15+ years progressive software engineering and technology leadership experience; 7+ years leading leaders and multiple teams or enterprise capabilities.
- Proven experience scaling AI-enabled development beyond pilots with lifecycle controls for security, privacy, quality, and responsible AI governance.
- Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare or life sciences with compliance, privacy, security, and audit requirements.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Executive-level knowledge of AI-assisted and agentic engineering including LLMOps/MLOps, AI evaluations, and agent permissions with AI-specific software supply-chain risk management.
- Strong track record managing large budgets, vendor ecosystems, and strategic build-buy-partner investment decisions using value and risk criteria.
- Experienced leader of global senior engineering teams, with ability to build durable organizational capability and lead enterprise transformations.
