About This Role
- Design, implement, and support enterprise VMware infrastructure and hybrid cloud solutions integrating on-premises data centers with Microsoft Azure.
- Lead end-to-end on-premises to Azure migration projects including assessment, planning, execution, optimization, and post-migration support.
- Drive infrastructure modernization through automation, orchestration, Infrastructure-as-Code, lifecycle management, capacity planning, and operational support.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on experience managing enterprise infrastructure platforms, specifically VMware virtualization technologies.
- Proven experience leading on-premises datacenter to Microsoft Azure migration projects.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- VMware and Microsoft Azure certifications preferred but not mandatory; Linux certifications and ITIL certification are desirable.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing and maintaining hybrid cloud architectures with strong expertise across VMware and Azure IaaS services.
- Proficient with automation frameworks such as PowerShell, Python, Terraform, Ansible for infrastructure automation and process improvements.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and drive cloud transformation and modernization initiatives in enterprise environments.
