About This Role
- Lead development of backend systems and REST APIs serving hundreds of millions of daily searches with emphasis on low latency and high throughput transactional services.
- Drive mission-critical projects impacting Priceline's business evolution while mentoring engineers and influencing best practices within Agile cross-functional teams.
- Design and implement complex, scalable, performance-driven applications using Java, Spring Framework, Microservices, Kubernetes, and Cloud (GCP).
Minimum Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering and development experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
- Strong expertise in Java programming, Spring Framework, SQL composition, Web Services, APIs, and Cloud development, preferably GCP.
- Experience with Microservices architecture, Kubernetes (preferably GKE), and Docker required.
