About This Role
- Design, build, and operate Python-based scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for multi-asset market data and reference data to feed real-time pricing and risk engines.
- Architect and maintain cloud-native, event-driven AWS data infrastructure using services like S3, Glue, Lambda, Kinesis/MSK, Redshift with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/CDK).
- Implement and maintain data quality frameworks (completeness, anomaly detection, reconciliation) ensuring low-latency, high-availability, and reliability at petabyte scale.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with at least 4 years in production data pipelines using Python (Pandas, PySpark, asyncio, or equivalent).
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS data services: S3, Glue, Lambda, Kinesis/MSK, Redshift, RDS, Step Functions.
- Deep domain knowledge in market data including pricing, corporate actions, identifier mapping (CUSIP, ISIN, SEDOL, FIGI).
- Proficiency in SQL and data modeling for analytical and operational workloads.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing and operating low-latency streaming and batch data pipelines in financial services or fintech context focused on investment data.
- Has worked with securities master/reference data systems and integrated with major market data vendors (Bloomberg, Refinitiv/LSEG, ICE Data Services).
- Strong architectural and infrastructure skills with AWS cloud-native services and Infrastructure-as-Code; able to influence platform design and mentor peers.
