About This Role
- Own end-to-end management of AI/ML projects including requirement gathering, feasibility assessment, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Coordinate cross-functional technical teams (Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Data Engineers, Developers) and business stakeholders to define scope, timelines, budgets, milestones, and delivery KPIs.
- Track project progress, manage risks, ensure successful transition of AI/ML solutions from PoC to production, and handle stakeholder communication and delivery reporting.
Minimum Requirements
- 8–12 years overall work experience with 3–5 years specifically managing AI/ML projects end-to-end.
- Hands-on exposure to AI/ML implementation including model development coordination, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
- Experience managing Agile projects and cross-functional teams, with familiarity in cloud AI/ML platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proven track record of delivering AI/ML projects from initiation through production deployment; candidates with only conventional IT project management or theoretical AI/ML knowledge are unsuitable.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing AI/ML projects covering lifecycle from proof-of-concept to production in a technical, cross-functional environment.
- Strong capability in project planning, risk management, and multi-stakeholder communication specific to AI/ML domains.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, cloud AI/ML platforms, MLOps practices, and tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or MS Project.
