About This Role
- Create and maintain automated UI, API, GraphQL, integration, and regression tests to protect customer behaviour and ensure fast feedback on changes and releases.
- Maintain test data, environments, diagnostics, and documentation for efficient defect reproduction and resolution.
- Contribute to CI/CD quality gates by identifying flaky, missing, or redundant test coverage; participate in defect analysis, release verification, upgrade checks, and rollback rehearsals.
Minimum Requirements
- 2+ years of practical software testing, quality engineering, or development experience with automation.
- Proficiency in at least one automation language and tools for API, UI, or service testing; hands-on experience with containerisation and Kubernetes is mandatory.
- Basic skills in SQL/data validation, REST/SOAP integration testing; understanding of Agile delivery, CI/CD, source control, and cloud-native service boundaries.
- Professional English communication skills required for global collaboration; degree/diploma in computing or engineering is desirable but practical experience is valued.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in enterprise business workflows, especially ERP or similar domains, with practical knowledge of Sage X3, manufacturing, distribution, or finance testing preferred.
- Operates effectively within distributed, outcome-owned squads collaborating across global locations, with ability to expand domain knowledge linked to cloud-operable and upgradeable SaaS capabilities.
- Detail-oriented and precise, with a focus on producing reproducible automated checks and contributing to safer release, migration practices, and rollback processes.
