About This Role
- Lead multiple engineering teams building backend and frontend systems for a product serving businesses in 39 countries, processing over 7 million daily requests.
- Remain hands-on technically across the stack including backend architecture, Angular frontend design, code review, production troubleshooting, and performance improvements.
- Own delivery, reliability, incident response, and collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, go-to-market, external partner, and internal engineering teams.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years building software with at least 5 years managing multiple engineering teams including developing senior technical leaders.
- Strong backend technical expertise including Python, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, distributed systems; familiarity with Angular frontend development.
- Demonstrated hands-on engineering skills: code contributions, design doc and PR reviews, debugging production issues, improving resilience and performance.
- Experience applying AI-assisted engineering tools at team level to improve quality and velocity.
