About This Role
- Lead and manage a team of 8-12 engineers building critical merchant fulfillment infrastructure impacting millions of merchants and 20+ product teams.
- Own technical strategy and roadmap for scalable backend and frontend services balancing feature velocity with extreme reliability and operational excellence.
- Drive uptime, latency reduction, and reliability of Merchant Dashboard systems, focusing on offline-first resilience and complex distributed system challenges.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years software engineering experience with at least 2 years in direct people management.
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and data consistency at scale.
- Experience with full-stack systems, comfortable with backend (Go/Java) and frontend (React/Mobile) technologies.
- Must be located in Bangalore or able to work onsite at least 50% of the time unless approved for full remote work.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced leader skilled in balancing technical strategy with business and operational needs, particularly in logistics or order management domains.
- Proficient in designing systems for mobile/tablet clients dealing with unreliable networks and offline scenarios.
- Background in fintech or financial reconciliation/dispute systems is a plus, indicating capability to handle complex post-order workflows.
