About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain AI/ML software solutions to enhance commercial products and internal processes at GEV.
- Collaborate with data scientists and cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML models and translate business needs into scalable, efficient software systems.
- Ensure software scalability, performance, security, code quality, and adherence to Agile and NPI processes, while supporting senior engineers in design and problem resolution.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Engineering, or Mathematics.
- 3-5 years of strong software engineering experience.
- Proficiency with Python, JavaScript, AWS, and frameworks/libraries such as React, Numpy, Torch, and Sanic.
- Experience with web technologies and version control systems in an industrial context.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in working in matrix organizations collaborating across teams and departments.
- Capable of contributing to technical design reviews and improving coding standards and best practices.
- Comfortable operating in an environment with Agile methodologies and New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.
