About This Role
- Ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of MySQL and PostgreSQL database infrastructure.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate database solutions, optimize performance, and handle production incidents.
- Automate database infrastructure, monitor metrics, and maintain comprehensive documentation and support on-call rotations.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 6+ years experience managing MySQL/PostgreSQL databases in large environments.
- Working knowledge of MySQL/PostgreSQL internals and load balancing tools like ProxySQL.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), caching systems (Redis/Elasticache), scripting (Python), and infrastructure automation (Terraform/Ansible).
- Location requirement: Bangalore, India.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in operating and scaling database systems in high-transaction, fintech or similar large-scale environments.
- Hands-on with database performance optimization, automation, and comprehensive monitoring/observability solutions.
- Collaborative engineering mindset with experience supporting cross-functional teams and production incident management.
