About This Role
- Develop and enhance strategic regulatory-driven margin and risk management systems for OTC bilateral derivatives.
- Lead application design adherence to architecture standards and guide team to establish design methods improving development and rollout efficiency.
- Own and execute smooth production release planning and management; analyze operations to identify and mitigate risks and redundancies.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on Java development experience with in-depth knowledge of Java, Spring, Kafka, and distributed systems like Apache Ignite.
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle; NoSQL like MongoDB and Python experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, API design (REST, websocket, gRPC), and cloud platforms Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent; Master’s degree preferred.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced senior developer comfortable working with complex financial risk management technologies involving Margin/XVA, regulatory stress testing, and risk calculation models like VaR/SIMM.
- Capable of bridging technical implementation and business domain knowledge, collaborating effectively with Quant teams and business stakeholders.
- Demonstrates operational ownership in release management and standards enforcement, with strong analytical and problem-solving ability in high-impact projects.
