About This Role
- Lead design, optimization, scaling, and reliability of PostgreSQL database infrastructure with full end-to-end ownership.
- Design and manage High Availability architectures, disaster recovery plans, and cloud deployments on platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Optimize complex SQL queries, integrate AI tools in workflows, and evaluate new database technologies for future-proofing.
Minimum Requirements
- 3 to 10 years of professional hands-on PostgreSQL experience in production environments.
- Proven expertise in database replication, High Availability setups (e.g., Patroni, PgBouncer), and Disaster Recovery planning.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and managed database services like Amazon RDS, Aurora, or Google Cloud SQL.
- Basic proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Node.js, Java, Bash).
