About This Role
- Lead a 4–5 engineer delivery pod combining hands-on software development with AI-assisted SDLC practices, ensuring frequent delivery of working software.
- Act as technical authority for pod-level architecture, code quality, performance, and security while establishing engineering standards and governance.
- Manage pod operations including task allocation, coaching in AI-native working methods, and stakeholder engagement to clarify and owning delivery outcomes.
Minimum Requirements
- Experience as senior software engineer, technical lead, or engineering specialist with production system delivery.
- Strong engineering fundamentals including API design (REST), secure coding, testing strategy, CI/CD.
- Expertise in Java or .NET or Python plus familiarity with React, Flutter, PostgreSQL, Neptune DB.
- Experience leading small delivery groups with iterative delivery and usage of AI development tools like Copilot or Amazon Kiro.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in AI-assisted or agentic software delivery models, ideally in pod or squad environments.
- Comfortable driving engineering governance, quality gates, and risk management especially around AI-assisted development.
- Skilled collaborator able to engage with senior managers and business stakeholders to align technical milestones and delivery scope.
