About This Role
- Own and support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities for retail and general ledger areas including accruals, reclasses, and analysis.
- Perform and review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations ensuring SOX compliance and audit readiness.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Retail Operations, Finance, Shared Services and global teams to resolve issues, improve RTR processes, and support internal/external audits.
Minimum Requirements
- CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) qualification mandatory.
- 8+ years of experience in record-to-report (RTR) processes required.
- Experience with SAP / S/4HANA or similar ERP and advanced Excel skills; Power BI experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, month-end close, SOX/internal control standards, and audit support.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in handling end-to-end retail accounting with exposure to retail cash/POS flows a plus.
- Capable of working independently in deadline-driven environments managing multiple priorities.
- Effective collaborator with global and cross-functional teams, comfortable working across time zones.
