About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and Lakehouse solutions using Azure Databricks, PySpark, SQL, and Delta Lake.
- Implement Bronze, Silver, and Gold Lakehouse data layers and reusable data-engineering frameworks, including complex ETL/ELT solutions with enterprise systems like SAP.
- Collaborate closely with Data Architects, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable, business-ready data products and optimize Spark/PySpark workloads for performance.
Minimum Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or Data Platform development.
- Strong hands-on skills with Azure Databricks, PySpark, Apache Spark, Python, SQL, and Delta Lake.
- Experience with enterprise-scale ETL/ELT pipelines, data modelling (Fact/Dimension, Star Schema), and data governance concepts.
- Work Experience Required: 5–10 years. No explicit notice period mentioned.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in implementing Bronze, Silver, and Gold/Medallion Lakehouse architectures in an enterprise environment.
- Has prior exposure to SAP as a source system and understands manufacturing business processes data.
- Holds or is preferably certified as Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate or Professional, with additional Microsoft Azure/Data Engineering certifications considered a plus.
