About This Role
- Design, prototype, and develop software solutions and common modules for semiconductor equipment components and devices.
- Develop software documentation and test procedures; troubleshoot and fix moderately complex software problems.
- Collaborate with internal and external customers to gather requirements, manage project schedules, and resolve software issues.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information management, software/system engineering, cyber security, mathematics, or related field.
- 2–4 years of relevant software development experience.
- Proficiency in C/C++, .Net, C#, Operating Systems, Networking principles, Algorithms, and Multi-threading.
- Work Location: Chennai, India; Relocation eligible; No travel required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in software development for complex systems, preferably in semiconductor or related high-tech industry.
- Comfortable working with AI-assisted coding tools and LLMs for C++ debugging, code generation, and performance benchmarking.
- Capable of designing reusable software modules and handling moderately complex troubleshooting independently.
