About This Role
- Maintain and enhance critical engineering software tools for nuclear and energy installations, ensuring quality, reliability, and performance.
- Develop robust, efficient, and scalable software components, supporting compliance with nuclear safety and regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshoot engineering data, software usability, and performance issues; participate in testing and quality assurance activities.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 2 years professional experience in software engineering focused on engineering tools or similar applications.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or STEM field with experience in engineering software development.
- Proficiency in Windows desktop application development using Fortran, C, C++, C#, Java, or Python; experience with client-server applications.
- Familiarity with Linux shell scripting, relational databases and SQL, numeric/scientific computation, and engineering disciplines such as Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, CAD.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in numeric and scientific computing applied to engineering design and analysis problems.
- Comfortable working within Agile software development lifecycle with strong knowledge of source control, unit testing, continuous integration.
- Able to independently manage tasks with thorough problem analysis in a global, multidisciplinary team environment.
