About This Role
- Lead technical management and operations of Datastores and Streaming technologies (Elasticsearch and Microsoft SQL Server) in Bangalore, supporting global teams.
- Develop and maintain automated, cloud-based database architectures including disaster recovery and replication strategies to improve system availability and performance.
- Drive database standards, collaborate with product/application teams, and support AI transformation initiatives with a focus on high-availability and scalable solutions.
Minimum Requirements
- 12+ years of experience including leadership in managing large, mission-critical database systems (>10 TB).
- Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server; familiarity with Elasticsearch preferred.
- Experience in cloud deployment, database automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform), and system administration (Linux/Red Hat).
- Work Experience Required: 12+ years including leadership responsibilities.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong expertise in database architecture, deployment design, and troubleshooting high-severity database issues in distributed, high-availability environments.
- Experience leading technical teams and driving change initiatives globally, particularly with Microsoft SQL Server and Elasticsearch technologies.
