About This Role
- Configure and integrate Guidewire BillingCenter including workflows, rules, UI, product model, and external system connections using web services, APIs, messaging, and batch processes.
- Lead data migration efforts through mapping, transformation, scripting, test data preparation, and validation for core system transformations or cloud implementations.
- Support system integration testing and user acceptance testing by analyzing defects, providing fixes, and maintaining technical and design documentation in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Minimum Requirements
- 6-9 years of IT experience with hands-on involvement in P&C insurance core systems implementations or enhancements.
- Practical experience with Guidewire BillingCenter configuration or integration in at least one implementation or major enhancement.
- Strong understanding of P&C claims lifecycle and BillingCenter configuration concepts including data model, workflows, rules, exposure segments, and user roles.
- Experience with enterprise integration technologies (REST/SOAP web services, messaging, batch, file-based interfaces) and data migration activities related to core system or cloud transformations.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in consulting or professional services settings with global, cross-functional Agile teams, able to translate complex business requirements into BillingCenter technical solutions.
- Comfortable working within a cloud or SaaS insurance platform modernization context, ideally with exposure to other Guidewire modules or certifications.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools and data-driven insights to enhance productivity and project quality in Guidewire platform implementations.
