About This Role
- Design, build, and maintain software features and infrastructure ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
- Continuously monitor platforms to identify issues, recommend improvements, and resolve complex problems in collaboration with multiple teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering team development, including documentation of software designs and operational support.
Minimum Requirements
- 4 to 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages including Golang, and experience with AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Experience supporting production systems including troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems and database design including SQL.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building and operating complex software systems end-to-end in production with knowledge of security, privacy, monitoring, logging, and alarms.
- Skilled in cloud infrastructure services including identity platforms, networking, storage, databases, containers, and serverless architecture.
- Capable of mentoring engineers technically and in communication, collaborating across teams, and driving improvements in software platforms.
