About This Role
- Design, build, monitor, and maintain highly available and scalable systems with engineering teams.
- Define and track SLIs/SLOs, guide reliability and release decisions using error budgets.
- Lead incident response, performance testing, and automate operational work using AI-driven tools.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years total experience with software development background.
- At least 3 years experience working with Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, and large-scale distributed systems.
- Strong programming skills in Go, Python, Java, Node or similar; production code experience required.
- Mandatory experience with SRE practices, Terraform/Pulumi, Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD tools (Argo CD, Jenkins), and monitoring tools (Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in defining and applying SRE practices including SLIs, SLOs, error budgets for system reliability and prioritization.
- Proficient in cloud-native infrastructure management and automation, especially on GCP and container orchestration platforms.
- Skilled in incident management and root cause analysis with a focus on systemic fixes rather than symptom treatment.
