About This Role
- Own and manage critical and high-severity production incidents in a 24/7 environment, including leading incident response and customer-facing communications.
- Improve operational stability metrics such as MTTR and MTTA by performing root cause analysis and driving corrective actions across large-scale distributed systems.
- Lead automation efforts using Go, Python, Shell, or Perl to reduce manual toil, and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and disaster recovery processes while providing technical mentorship to the ProdOps team.
Minimum Requirements
- 9+ years of experience in Production Operations, SRE, or Cloud Reliability roles.
- Experience leading major production incidents in customer-facing systems.
- Strong expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), Terraform, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Harness, or ArgoCD.
- Flexible to work 24/7 rotational shifts including nights and weekends (On-call required).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Senior-level candidate with demonstrated ability to lead complex incident management and reliability initiatives in distributed systems.
- Experienced in scripting and automation (Go, Python, Shell, or Perl) with a focus on reducing operational burdens and improving service reliability.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, CloudOps, and Support teams while mentoring junior engineers in a high-demand, customer-critical production environment.
