About This Role
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and event-driven solutions with end-to-end ownership including deployment and production support.
- Provide technical leadership by mentoring engineers, influencing stakeholders, and driving engineering excellence and continuous improvement across teams.
- Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Security, and Platform teams to deliver business outcomes and ensure secure, reliable, high-quality software using automated testing, CI/CD, observability, and performance tuning.
Minimum Requirements
- 6+ years of advanced backend engineering experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, and Domain-Driven Design.
- Experience developing frontend applications using React.js or similar frameworks.
- Strong knowledge in cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and production environment ownership.
- Work Experience Required: 6+ years in relevant technologies and practices.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced full-stack engineer with a priority focus on backend scalable, resilient, high-performance systems in cloud environments.
- Proven technical leadership skills including mentoring, stakeholder engagement, and advocating engineering best practices within Agile and CI/CD environments.
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture using Kafka, Redis Streams, asynchronous processing, and the use of AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot to enhance productivity while maintaining quality and security.
