About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain event-driven and streaming software systems focused on data capture, routing, storage, and transformation.
- Build and operate distributed data pipelines for structured and unstructured data ensuring reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business and technical requirements, and contribute to design standards and platform robustness.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Java or Python programming languages.
- Experience building distributed systems or data-intensive applications.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in event-driven and streaming platforms, preferably with Apache Kafka or similar technologies.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals with a focus on data modeling, data integrity, and scalable data processing.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms, Agile development, and operational best practices in distributed environments.
