About This Role
- Develop and maintain features for Google Cloud Platform storage infrastructure, involving Cloud FileSystems and networking.
- Participate in or lead design reviews to evaluate and select appropriate technologies for cloud storage solutions.
- Debug and resolve issues impacting hardware, network, or service operations to ensure product quality.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 5 years of software development experience with programming languages such as C++, C, or Go.
- At least 3 years experience in testing, maintaining, launching software products, and 1 year in software design and architecture.
- 3 years of experience developing large-scale distributed systems, infrastructure, networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing and building cloud storage or large-scale distributed systems, especially within enterprise or cloud platform environments.
- Proficient in concurrency, multithreading, synchronization, and system-level programming in languages like C++ or Go.
- Able to lead technical design reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud infrastructure projects.
