About This Role
- Develop and optimize C++ algorithms to process scientific data from analytical instrumentation used in drug discovery.
- Port and benchmark algorithms on GPU architectures to improve run times and performance.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and global teams to refine algorithms, validate solutions, and maintain code quality with best practices.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, physics, mathematics, or related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in software development or algorithm engineering.
- Strong proficiency in C++ development including object-oriented or functional programming best practices.
- Experience with GPU programming using CUDA/OpenCL and familiarity with software development workflows (Git, testing, agile).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven ability to develop and refine scientific algorithms applied to high throughput analytical data.
- Experience working in hybrid or collaborative environments involving cross-functional teams and subject matter experts.
- Demonstrated skill in performance optimization and porting code to GPU to accelerate scientific computations.
