About This Role
- Build and maintain system testbeds involving Mist Edge technologies and networking equipment to validate datapath, tunneling, and security features.
- Recreate complex customer networking issues in lab environments and collaborate with global engineering teams for resolution, while managing bug tracking and closure in Jira.
- Develop automation frameworks using AI-assisted tools to improve test coverage, regression efficiency, and root cause analysis, while also training and mentoring junior engineers.
Minimum Requirements
- 10–15 years of relevant experience in network automation QA or related roles.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Strong hands-on expertise with L2TPv3 and IPsec tunneling protocols, Layer 2 switching and Layer 3 routing concepts, and packet troubleshooting tools like Wireshark.
- Onsite work requirement primarily from HPE office location.
