About This Role
- Own and architect major infrastructure platforms including cloud cost operations, service provisioning, internal developer platforms, and AI agents for infrastructure operations.
- Lead design and delivery of multi-quarter infrastructure projects such as Kubernetes containerization, GitOps implementations, infrastructure-as-code standardization, and cloud cost management solutions.
- Drive technical decisions on methods, tools, standards, and vendor interactions related to cloud cost forecasting, AWS commitments, data lifecycle management, infrastructure security, and reliability.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with significant background in infrastructure, platform, DevOps, or SRE software.
- Expert proficiency in Python and/or Go for production-quality code delivery and review.
- Deep AWS expertise across compute, networking, identity/access management, storage, databases, messaging, billing, multi-account and multi-cluster environments.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience); work experience typically 8+ years (Bachelor’s) or 6+ years (Master’s).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Senior technical leader with demonstrated ability to lead multi-person infrastructure engineering initiatives while remaining hands-on in design and coding.
- Experienced in cross-functional infrastructure domains combining cloud engineering, cost management (FinOps), database operations, platform engineering, and DevOps practices.
- Strategic thinker able to evaluate trade-offs across technology choices, costs, security, and operations, comfortable interfacing with finance, business leadership, and vendor teams.
