About This Role
- Design, build, and optimize complex ETL pipelines and data architecture on Google Cloud Platform using Apache Spark and BigQuery.
- Manage large-scale Spark clusters and ensure performance and scalability of data warehouses with advanced SQL optimization.
- Integrate emerging Generative AI capabilities like Vertex AI into production data pipelines, collaborating with Data Science teams.
Minimum Requirements
- 3-4 years of relevant software engineering or data engineering experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Proficiency in Python or Scala programming languages.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services: BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, and Pub/Sub.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in tuning and debugging Spark jobs at petabyte scale for high-performance data processing.
- Skilled in designing and implementing both batch and real-time data pipelines with strong SQL expertise.
- Familiarity with GenAI concepts such as LLMs and prompt engineering, and experience integrating AI/ML tools within data workflows.
