About This Role
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated software/firmware test suites for Qualcomm products at functional, integration, and system levels.
- Create software/firmware test plans ensuring requirements traceability and wide test coverage for server platforms including data center servers.
- Collaborate with software, firmware, and hardware teams to support production-level software readiness, bring-up, debugging, and continuous integration/deployment processes.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field plus 4+ years of Software Engineering or related experience; OR Master's degree with 3+ years experience; OR PhD with 2+ years experience.
- Minimum 2+ years programming experience in languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Preferred 8+ years in Software/Firmware Validation with at least 5 years focused on Data Center Server software test engineering.
- Experience with operating systems like Ubuntu Server, RHEL, SUSE, or Windows Server and automated software/firmware test development for server platforms.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced engineer with strong programming skills in C and/or Python focused on server platform firmware and software validation.
- Background in multi-disciplinary collaboration with hardware, software, and test teams to validate complex reference platforms at component and system levels.
- Demonstrated expertise in SW/FW integration related to BIOS/UEFI, BMC firmware, and operating systems for server architectures (x86, ARM64, RISC-V).
