About This Role
- Build and maintain scalable AI platform capabilities and tooling that serve multiple engineering teams, ensuring high adoption and reduced duplicative effort.
- Lead design, development, testing, and support of platform services, AI control plane components, and enforce enterprise-wide standards for consistency, security, and compliance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, SRE, security, and product teams to deliver operable, instrumented, and maintainable AI/ML platform infrastructure aligning with business and technical requirements.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, machine learning, or related discipline.
- 5+ years software and platform engineering experience including Python, Angular, React, NodeJS, C#, .NET, Java, Rust, SQL/NoSQL, and relevant AI/ML frameworks and testing tools.
- 3+ years hands-on experience designing and operating AI/ML platforms (MLOps/LLMOps), model serving, retrieval/vector infra, and observability instrumentation for LLMs.
- 3+ years cloud-native engineering experience on Azure, AWS, or GCP with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker), Big Data, CI/CD, distributed systems; plus SAP ABAP (RICEFW, ODATA Services), SAP Fiori (UI, backend ODATA).

- Experienced in AI control-plane design, policy-as-code enforcement, and enterprise data governance integration for regulated and multi-tenant systems.
- Operates with a lean, evidence-driven engineering approach favoring rapid, incremental delivery, collaborating effectively across diverse technical and leadership teams.
