About This Role
- Lead multi-site teams of managers and their teams across India, Poland, and the Nordics in cloud and platform operations transformation.
- Drive strategy for moving from manual, customer-specific hosting to standardized automated platform on Azure, using Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, and serverless technologies.
- Engage with senior stakeholders to align division leadership on platform modernization, handle major incident reporting, and continuously operate and modernize live services.
Minimum Requirements
- 12+ years of overall experience including at least 3 years in team management.
- Strong technical experience in cloud and platform engineering on Azure, Kubernetes, serverless, and infrastructure as code.
- Experience in traditional hosting, on-premises operations, and running 24/7 services with SLA frameworks like ITIL or SRE.
- Located in or willing to relocate to Mangaluru, India; role is office-based.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven track record of leading managers (not just individual contributors) through change from manual operations to automation.
- Experience managing cross-cultural and multi-time zone teams with ability to build trust across regions and travel occasionally to Europe.
- Strategic operator who drives initiatives proactively, influences senior stakeholders including directors, and champions retiring outdated services.
