About This Role
- Develop and implement autonomy functions including perception, obstacle avoidance, adaptive path planning, and intelligent assistive controls for a dynamic mapping–based pick-and-place robot.
- Design and optimize trajectory planning, grasp planning, collision avoidance, and real-time arm control for high-speed robotic manipulation tasks.
- Collaborate with hardware, controls, and AI teams to deliver safe and reliable robotic systems for complex, dynamic environments.
Minimum Requirements
- 2-5 years of professional experience in robotics software development.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python programming languages.
- Experience with Robot Operating System (ROS or ROS 2).
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong domain expertise in robotics autonomy, including kinematics, dynamics, control systems, and perception algorithms.
- Experience with sensor fusion and SLAM for robot navigation and environment understanding.
- Comfortable working in a cross-disciplinary R&D environment focused on real-time, safety-critical robotics software.
